VIA North America Metabolic Education Event 2018

Come join your fellow metabolic dietitians for this virtual day of education. VIA North America Metabolic Education Event is designed to offer seasoned professionals and those who are new to the field of inborn errors of metabolism (IEM) an overview of the nutritional management of various IEM conditions as well as insight into some of the complexities involved in supporting these patient groups such as adults with PKU, mPKU, breastmilk use in IEM, GLUT-1 deficiency and PDH.


Program topics will include:

  • Overview of applicable literature and review of nutrition management
  • Latest innovations in nutrition interventions
  • Practical implementation of diet
  • Case examples
